Biscuits & Bison Sausage Gravy
This is a perfect recipe using our Country Bison Breakfast Sausage. This classic breakfast recipe with our bison spin will give you a delicious breakfast at home! This recipe can be halved.
1 lb. Ground Bison Breakfast Sausage
1/2 small onion, chopped
6 tbsp. flour
4 cups milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
dash Worcestershire sauce
Brown Bison Breakfast Sausage over medium heat with onion until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
Add flour to sausage and stir until coated. Cook and stir for about 4 minutes.
Add milk and seasoning. Stir almost constantly, allowing the gravy to thicken. Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes over medium heat, until gravy has thickened to desirable consistency.
Serve over warm biscuits.
