I have beed ordering filet mignon from Nebraska Bison for many years. The product is very flavorful. I will continue to order it.
Doesn’t get much better
I’ve order other items from Nebraska Bison. It doesn’t get much better than the Filet Mignon.
Better than any cow filet mignon I have had.
Wrap the filet in a slice of bacon. A little bit of salt and pepper and a pad of butter on top. Throw on the grill for 4 minutes, flip and cook till temp of about 120 to 125. Let it rest 5 minutes. You will have the most tender and flavorable filet mignoin you have ever had. I was absolutely surprised by how good it was.
Last time was better
I was greatly disappointed at the amount of fat and sinew found in the filet mignon this time compare to the last which was much leaner I expected more at this price.
Bison burgers were not what we expected
We really like the burgers when they went to the round patties. This order they returned to the square patties. Hard to find a square bun.

What is the difference between bison and buffalo?
The American Bison is the proper name for the animal that early western settlers referred to as "buffalo".
However, because the word "buffalo" is so ingrained in our language and culture, it is generally considered acceptable to use "buffalo" and "bison" interchangeably in North America.
