Great news! NebraskaBison.com is now offering a trial run of a new checkout option for recurring billing. This means, that with most products, you will now have the option to make a one-time purchase, as you have in the past, or you can set up a "Recurring Order" for 30, 45, 60 or 90 day intervals.
With a recurring order, every 30 days (or whichever selection you make) we will automatically process your order for you, so that you never have to run out of our premium bison, elk & grass-fed beef products – and even better, you don't even have to worry about placing the order!
How does it work?
It is quite easy to set up your first recurring order. On the page of the product you would like to order you will have a choice to "Make a one-time purchase" or "Set up a recurring order". Simply select the option to set up a recurring order and choose the number of days you would like your order to renew as shown below:
You will then proceed to check out as normal and have your first order processed. Each consecutive order will be automatically processed for you in the time frame you have determined.
Can I change or update my recurring order?
Yes! You can always add or remove items to your recurring order within your customer portal. After your first order you will receive a link to your customer portal where you can add products, change quantities and delete products from your recurring order.
You will also be able to update your address and payment information in this portal.
When will I receive my recurring orders?
You will be charged for your order on the date displayed in your customer portal based on the interval schedule you selected (every 30, 45, 60 or 90 days). Your order will ship the next available shipping date AFTER the order is processed. So, in most cases, if your next order is processed on a Thursday, your order will ship out the following Monday.
What if I need to change my delivery date or skip an order?
No problem! You can select to skip a delivery within your customer portal, just as you can make changes to your order. If you need any assistance or just need to push a delivery date back a bit if you won't be available to receive it, you can always give us a call at 888-665-8757 and we'll be happy to help you out!
Will I receive reminders and notifications of my upcoming orders?
Yes! We want to make this process as easy as possible for you – that's the whole point, right?! So, you'll receive a reminder email 3 days before your credit card is set to be charged for each order. This will give you a chance to make any changes, if necessary. You will also receive your standard order confirmation email receipt after each order is processed.
How come I can't pay with PayPal or Amazon Pay for recurring payments?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to process recurring payments by credit card payment only. Although you can pay with PayPal or Amazon Pay for one-time orders, we are not able to set up recurring payments with those methods.
What happens when the price of an item in my order increases?
We do not raise prices very often, however, from time to time we may increase prices on products due to market variations. When this occurs, we will do our best to notify subscription customers ahead of time so that there are no surprises on your end.
