Bison New York Steaks

I purchased the New York Steaks, four of the. We had them on Sunday for a family barbecue. The steaks were seasoned with the season that Nebraska Bison included on first order. The whole family loved them the seasoning was a great hit, even with my wife who is a picky eater. They were very tasty and tender. I have to give a shout out to their customer service, especially Carli who helped with an issue I had. I intend to order more in the future…..

Great tasting, still cold but no ice left

Sorry I mixed up my reviews, I listed this one under the bison burgers. The bison steaks and burgers were in the same shipment. The burgers tasted great we just had to give most of them to the family as well because they too were not froze any longer so we had to eat them within a few days. We had the steaks and the hamburgers for Father's Day. Everyone was impressed and very well fed. I will order again.

Not that great

I cooked them medium rare but they were a little gristly and chewy. I will try the ribeye next.

We recommend cooking bison meat low and slow to ensure tender and flavorful meat.

What is the difference between bison and buffalo?

The American Bison is the proper name for the animal that early western settlers referred to as "buffalo".

However, because the word "buffalo" is so ingrained in our language and culture, it is generally considered acceptable to use "buffalo" and "bison" interchangeably in North America.
