Bison Top Sirloin Overview:

  • 10 oz. Bison Top Sirloin Steaks
  • Each steak is individually sealed.
  • Just 7g of fat per steak.

Lean, naturally raised steaks – top quality taste with only 7g of fat.

The Top Sirloin Steak contains little marbling and strong bison flavor. This steak will be well prepared whether you intend to cook it on the grill, broiler, or by pan-frying. The Bison Top Sirloin is also an excellent choice if you prefer to marinate your steak.

Like all of our bison steaks, these 10 oz. Top Sirloins are deliciously tender and have a slightly sweet taste. Our prime steaks are a cut above the rest in flavor, tenderness and quality because we work hard every day to make sure our bison are raised in the best way possible and that our meat is butchered and packaged by an experienced and knowledgeable team.

We know that you will be pleased with the delicious taste and quality of our Bison Top Sirloin!

What does Bison Steak Taste like?

Bison has a rich, clean and slightly sweet flavor. You'll notice a difference from your first bite! Bison steaks have a deep red color -- and a lot less marbling! Our responsibly ranch raised philosophy and the freedom of our animals to graze and roam around the ranch, ensures that our meat is of exceptional quality which you will notice in both taste and appearance.

What's the best way to season a bison steak?

Your favorite seasoning blend will work great on our Bison Filet Mignon. However, we suggest using only a small amount of salt on our steaks. We offer a Bison Steak & Burger Seasoning blend which we had developed specifically to complement or bison as well. We also find that Garlic, Pepper and Rosemary makes a great seasoning blend for bison steaks.

What's the best way to cook Bison Steak?

Bison steaks, particularly the top sirloin, are very lean so you'll want to take care when cooking. Your favorite cooking method of other steaks (grilling, stove-top, etc.) should work just as well with bison, however you will likely want to lower the heat and adjust the cooking time.

We recommend not cooking bison steaks past medium doneness, leaving some pink. If you cook your steak too quickly or too well-done, it will become tough and chewy. As long as you cook it to medium doneness (or less), you will be left with an amazingly tender, delicious steak!

How will this meat arrive?

We package our bison steaks individually and vacuum sealed. The Top Sirloin is then placed in a carton with 4 steaks per box.

We then place the carton of bison steaks (and any other items you order) in a cooler with dry ice to ensure that it stays frozen and cold during shipping. Even if your meat does not arrive still completely frozen (although most of the time it will), as long as it arrive cold to the touch, it is completely safe to re-freeze and cook.
