The resurgence of memories!!!

The states are a lot smaller than the ones that I used to butcher out of the elk that I had hunted and shot and brought home to eat!!! It was a 10 pointer, and it was difficult to gut it and then drag it uphill about a hundred or150 yds! By the time I got it in my truck it felt more like 250 yds!!! And it blows my mind that I'm paying this absorbient price for this elk, cuz since I was loading my own ammo, it probably cost me about 95 cents to take down the whole elk! The first elk steak that I cooked of yours, had a limit running all through it! And when I cooked it the whole thing scribbled up into a ball!?!Ha ha! I had a hard time rolling around the pan just to get it evenly cooked!! Yeah!!! About 30% of it was all tendon! But the next one cooked just right!! They are small but great steaks just the same!! I still have three left! I save them for special occasions! As usual,... It's been a pleasure!!! God bless and Happy New Year!!!

First time for Elk

I prepared the Elk Steaks in my air fryer with a touch of olive oil and Montreal seasoning. I couldn't believe how tender they were and delicious to boot. Good job, N.B.
