Bison Short Ribs

Follow this easy, slow cooked recipe for bison short ribs for fall-off-the bone tenderness!

4 lbs. Buffalo Short Ribs
2 cups flour
salt & pepper, to taste
4 tbsp. olive oil
2 onions, sliced
2 bottles dark beer
1 tbsp. rosemary
2 tsp. thyme

Cut buffalo ribs between bones of slab. Combine flour and salt & pepper to your taste. Coat ribs in flour mixture. Braise ribs in olive oil. Separate onion slices into rings. Place onion rings in bottom of slow cooker. Place braised short ribs on top of onions in slow cooker. Pour dark beer over ribs. Sprinkle evenly with thyme and rosemary.

Cook on High for 4-5 hours. Turn to Low for an additional 1-2 hours.
