Bison Steak & Pesto Pasta

This light and delicious pasta recipe includes bison steak slices to give your pasta dish an extra helping of protein and flavor!

Bison Steak (any that you have on hand)
Pasta Noodles (something with texture, such as penne or rotini, works best, but again... anything you have on hand will work.)
1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
2 tsp. Basil
1 tsp. Garlic Salt
Crushed Red Pepper
Parmesan Cheese
Olive Oil


In a small bowl, mix Italian Seasoning, Basil and Garlic Salt. Add more or less of any of the seasonings according to taste.

Season and cook your bison steak using your preferred method (grill, pan fry, etc.) to medium or medium rare. 

Cook your noodles al dente, according to package directions.

Slice your steak into thin slices. Once your noodles are cooked, drain and place in serving bowl. Pour seasonings over top and drizzle olive oil over the noodles and seasonings. Add Crushed Red Pepper and Parmesan Cheese to taste. Mix pasta thoroughly. Add in steak pieces and serve with salad and/or garlic bread.
