Bison Sirloin Steak with Balsamic Honey Glaze

A delicious bison steak recipe from our 31 Days of Bison promotion.

2 Bison Top Sirloin Steaks
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. dijon mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. minced garlic
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
rosemary Steak & Burger Seasoning
1 onion, sliced

Season the bison steaks with Bison Steak & Burger Seasoning and rosemary.

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients from balsamic vinegar through pinch of pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium-medium high heat. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Place steaks on pre-heated grill over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side until steaks have reached medium doneness.

While steaks are cooking, add a slab of butter to a frying pan. Add onion slices and cook until tender.

Remove steaks from grill and brush glaze mixture on top of steaks. Top with buttered onions. Serve remaining sauce on the side for dipping.
